My morning routine is now more important to me than ever before. Having a powerful hour at the beginning of your day can really help you to deal with whatever comes next. As we are all facing challenges right now, starting your day well is so important.

This book is a brilliant tool kit for developing your morning routine. It is based on the idea of a 20/20/20 formula, which splits the first hour of your day into 3 parts that cover Movement, Reflection and Growth.

The book follows a story of two people who join the 5am Club and how much developing these morning habits really help them in their lives. You might like to read the book or listen to it on Audible. Or, you can trust me on this and get up an hour early to win your morning!

The book suggests 5am but I go for 5.30am, which I think still counts! If I get up at 5.30am then I can have a shower and my hot lemon drink and then have my hour 6-7am.

I like to start with yoga or a run followed by 20 minutes of meditation and journalling, and then 20 minutes of reading or listening to something inspiring.

I have been doing this morning routine for over a year now and it really does work. It makes me think clearer throughout the day, it reduces my stress levels and it helps me to feel mentally and physically strong.

If you create one new habit during this time, I would highly recommend that it's developing a strong early morning hour. Take care and stay safe. x
