My eldest child, Imogen, is 12 today! I thought it was a good time to give a corner of her room a little refresh. We have slowly been putting her room together this year. We rent our house, so I can't always do what I want with our bedrooms but I try not to get frustrated to to focus on what we can do.

I love how Imogen's personal style is developing and like her to have lots of input with her room. Styling my own bedroom was something I loved to do when I was younger and I really enjoy watching my children do the same.

Bedding company Casper have just launched a new Merino Wool and Down Duvet, which they kindly gifted us this week along with two of their brilliant pillows. This was the perfect starting point for the mini refresh. Imogen is working so hard at her new school, so getting a good night's sleep is even more important to keep her going, especially in the Winter months. She couldn't believe how well she slept after the first night with her new duvet and pillow. I was so pleased!

I love the Casper packaging so much and am definitely keeping these boxes to create into something fun!

Imogen loves fairy lights, so I hung some over her bed and into a jar on her bedside cabinet. She is going for light, bright room with lots of while and yellow, so I painted the pink cabinet white with Annie Sloan paint. It makes such a difference to the space.

The Casper Duvet is so light but so warm in the Winter, which is a wonderful combination. I think we're all going to want one!

The mattress and pillows were a gift from Casper. All opinions my own.
