Last week I had the pleasure of attending the press day for the opening of Kew's Temperate House. Many years ago I did a (sadly unfinished but much loved) PhD on international law and plant hunting. I spent many happy days researching at Kew Gardens and will alway have a special place in my heart. So, it really was extra wonderful to be there on the day that the Temperate House reopened.
The Temperate House is the world's largest surviving Victorian-era glasshouse and it is simply stunning.
Here are a collection of my images from the day. I cannot wait to go back again soon to share this special glasshouse with my family. If you get a chance to visit then snap it up and enjoy!
