Practising gratitude really is so wonderful. It can help you turn around so many negative thoughts you may have throughout the day.
I love to stop myself when I'm moaning about things like the weather, the piles of washing or my phone battery having died again and my portable battery being flat, and turn it around.
If it's raining, I remind myself how much we need the water and how grateful all the plants in my garden will be. The piles of washing remind me what a gorgeous big family I have and just how lucky I am. My phone battery reminds me to be grateful for the brilliant technology we have at our finger tips.
Take a moment today when you catch yourself moaning about something and see if you can turn it around into a feeling of gratitude. It will make you smile and feel so much calmer.
