Hooray! I am finally joining in with the Urban Jungle Bloggers and celebrating green plants in my home and urban garden. Urban Jungle Bloggers was set up by the lovely Igor (Happy Interior Blog) and Judith (JOELIX.com) and each month there is a different theme to join in with. For April it is green windowsills and balconies, so here are some (iPhone) images from my home showing my little urban jungle, starting with my sweet west elm owl mug filled with mint, which makes me smile whenever I am in my kitchen.
A pot of thyme. This cute chalk board plant pot is from west elm and alternates between my kitchen windowsill inside and outside!
I found this cute cactus in an olive tin at the Crafty Fox Market at the weekend. It was part of the CL.AM stand. They make beautiful stationery...with added plant props...what a perfect combination for someone like me.
A simple hanging basket that I have just filled with loads of trailing lobelia.
A happy succulent in a bowl from Rigby and Mac.
My first 'shed box'! A wicker box from The Balcony Gardener and filled with herbs.
I hope this has inspired you to add some green to your home this Spring. The Urban Jungle Bloggers' Pinterest board is packed with lots more gorgeous inspiration. Enjoy! x
