Putting yourself in the frame

If you're the one who's the photographer of your family, there's one thing you should bear in mind. What happens if you're not taking photographs of yourself in the mix? If your partner isn't confident with a camera, then you end up with hundreds of beautiful images, but you might be missing from a lot of them.

Using your timer function, a simple tripod, or even a remote trigger is a good way to make sure you're getting a few images of the whole family together.

A fun way to encourage that, though is to get hold of a Trigger Trap. It connects your phone to your camera, and lets you do fun projects, like taking an image only when there's enough noise. Basically - getting everyone to shout triggers the camera to take a photo. And that's just one idea you can do with it. Maybe put this on your wish list for Christmas or birthday, or get hold of one for a weekend project?
