The words we say to ourselves really can have an impact on how we feel and what we do. I love to start each day with an affirmation and I treasure our family mantra, "create something every day."
I collect books of positive quotes, thoughts and affirmations. I love to dip into them when I need some guidance or when I'm looking for inspiration.
Two of my favourites at the moment are :
"The Daily Promise : 100 ways to feel happy about your life." by Domonique Bertolucci
"101 Moments Of Joy and Inspiration" by Meredith Gaston
The affirmations I read in today's lesson.
"I wake up today with strength in my heart and clarity in my mind."
"Creative energy surges through me and leads me to new and brilliant ideas."

The Science of Meditation (if you get a pop-up, just click free and you'll be able to read this article from the Washington Post).
If you are feeling that mantras and affirmations never work for you then this is a great article by Sas Petherick, which explains why that might be and how you can help yourself.
